Roof Leaks in Local Columbus Hotel

Ceiling collapses down in 3rd floor hotel room. Our office received a call from local hotel owner in September to assist with providing emergency services. When our teams arrived in the property there was a total of 6 units with water damage. 

Our crews immediately took action. We completed a walk-through with the owner and discussed the game plan on starting the mitigation process. Once all approval was granted our technicians began services.

As you can see in the attached photo. The ceiling had collapsed and caused debris to damage the contents below. But that not stop within just one room. Three floors down water traveled through the walls and outlets affecting the additional spaces.

SERVPRO performed the following services:

• Debris removal
• Removal of damaged materials
• Anti-microbial treatment 
• Placement of equipment
• Daily monitoring
• Daily meetings with the Project Manager and Owner

Once work was completed we were able to provide the Owner of the Hotel and their Insurance Company a full report of services with readings, signed forms, and photos documenting the events that took place.
