Mitigation Loss Cat 2
In the before photo you can see that the carpet is saturated. The cause of loss for this claim was an a/c leak. Now the water sat for over 48 -72 hours cause the Category of loss to be changed from Cat 1 to Cat 2.
In the after photo you can see that the carpet was removed and drying equipment was placed. The carpet was not saved due to staining on the backing of the carpet and delamination of the backing of carpet.
