Process of a Cat 1 Water Loss

Cause of loss was from a water heater that leaked. Insured was at home at time of loss and was able to turn the water off at the property. 

In the before photo you can see the water line in the carpet where the carpet is saturated. Now we used a tool call a weighted extractor. This tool allowed us to get the standing water up without having to pull the carpet padding.

In the after photo you will see how the air movers have been placed to force circulation of air flow in the bedroom. We also have a dehumidifier in the room as well.
